Alan Bersin is back in San Diego to step into his latest government post. He has the distinction of having been named by four different government bodies to four different jobs.
Yesterday, the San Diego City Council confirmed his appointment to the three- person Executive Committee of the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority. He comes to the $150,000 a year job after serving 18 months as Governor Schwarzenneger’s Secretary of Education. Before that, he spent seven years as chief of San Diego City Schools, and before that, six years as U.S. Attorney in San Diego.
