Pendleton Marine Sentenced in War Crime Trial
Tom Fudge : When is a Marine guilty of murder? Private John Jodka of Encinitas was sentenced to 18 months for his role in the killing of Iraqi civilian in Haditha. He’s the second Marine to be sentenced in the case and one of three that have accepted plea bargains. We’ll talk about the case, and the way the government is pursuing it. And we’ll ask how military justice handles the difficult question of when a man turns from soldier to criminal.
