Maureen Cavanaugh: Scott Silverman's memoir has a provocative title; it's called Tell Me No. I Dare You! The title reflects Silverman's fiesty quest to turn all the voices that say "no, it's not possible, you can't, it will never happen" into "yes", to create change and turn lives around.
Scott Silverman has a lot of experience turning lives around, as founder and executive director of the Second Chance program he's been helping homeless and unemployed San Diegans find new jobs, homes and hope. But it's interesting to discover that the first life Scott turned around was his own and he's here to tell us about it.
Scott Silverman will be at Warwick's on Tuesday, February 3 at 7:30pm to discuss and sign copies of his book, Tell Me No. I Dare You!: A Guide For Living a Heroic Life.
