Above: UCSD violinist János Négyesy has collaborated with composers John Cage and Morton Feldman AND he has great sweaters.
I got this terrific email today from Dirk Sutro over at UCSD's Music Department. In it he wrote:
"UCSD violinist János Négyesy is best known for collaborations with modernist innovators such as composers John Cage and Morton Feldman, but what is not so well known is that Négyesy is a style-setter whose collection Spanish designer sweaters have become his signature around campus. In recent months, the maestro has been captured in a variety of his geometrically patterned knit tops. He may or may not turn up in one of these beauties this Saturday night, October 23 at 8 pm, when he collaborates with sitar master Kartik Seshadri at UCSD's quarterly Soirée for Music Lovers concert, 8 pm, Conrad Prebys Music Center."
Attached were these pictures of Négyesy in his sweaters. I had to share this...totally stylin!
