Post-Christmas Sales in San Diego Try To Lure In Bargain-Loving Shoppers

Department stores and retailers of all kinds are hoping their Christmas season isn't over yet. Post-Christmas sales begin Thursday and stores are cutting prices, some offering ‘buy one, get one free’ deals on clothes, toys, appliances and electronics.

The post-Christmas push is an effort to wring sales out of consumers who weren't too eager to part with cash during the pre-Christmas season. Miro Copic, professor of marketing at the SDSU College of Business Administration, joins Midday to discuss consumer confidence before 2014.
