The Immigration Reform bill passed the Senate Judiciary committee this week. The bill now moves to the Senate floor for a vote next month, but even if it passes in the Senate, there are new doubts about its chances in the House. The Bill that provides a lengthy but definite road to citizenship for many people in the U.S. illegally is running up against resistance from conservative members of Congress who say the bill offers "amnesty."
