Older Sister Of Gov. Jerry Brown Dies

Gov. Jerry Brown's office says Brown's older sister, Cynthia Kelly, died over the weekend.

Cynthia Kelly was 81. She was the second-born daughter of former Gov. Pat Brown and his wife, Bernice. In all, the Browns had four children, three of them daughters.

In confirming the death Monday, Brown's office provided no other information about the cause of death or pending arrangements.
