Celebrate Vietnamese New Year (observed on February 1) with a bowl of warming, flavorful homemade phở! Join guest chef Anne-Solenne Hatte, author of the recent book “Tasting Vietnam,” for a class that will give you the confidence to make great phở at home.
Specifically, we’ll be making Phở gà, a chicken-based version of the dish that comes together in just one hour. We’ll get into the details of every part of the dish, from choosing the right cut of meat to blending together aromatic spices—think cinnamon, star anise, cilantro and black pepper—to building a deeply flavorful broth. The result is simply one of the best bowls of soup you’ll ever eat.
Date | Saturday, January 29 from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
