Join us on Free Third Thursday on May 19, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.! Tickets are free but are required for entry.
Schedule:
4 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Meet San Diego Public Library Youth Librarian Ms. Katia and an MCASD Museum Educator for a gallery tour
5 p.m.: A monster-inspired art making workshop for grades 2+ (caregivers required to attend)
6 p.m.: Join percussionists Dalia Berman and Gloria Yehilevsky in a survey of instruments, influences, and styles. This performance will include an originally composed duet and improvisations spanning a mixture of jazz, international, and classical musical origins.
6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Gorgo (1961): Science fiction monster film
