One Book, One San Diego book discussion at the Skyline Hills Library

Please join the County of San Diego Filipino-American Employees Association, the African American Association of County Employees, the City of San Diego Filipino-American Employees Association, and the City of San Diego Black Employees Association at the Skyline Hills Branch Library for in-person book discussion of "The Vanishing Half: A Novel" by Brit Bennett.

"The Vanishing Half" by Brit Bennett, a #1 New York Times Bestseller, tells the story of the Vignes twin sisters and how one chooses to live her life in the Black community she was raised in and the other sister chooses to pass as white elsewhere. It is a riveting, emotional story about family and exploration of the American history of passing.
