On the third Thursday of every month, the museum offers free admission to all visitors with extended hours through 8 p.m. Visitors can join a free, themed Gallery Guide-led tour beginning at 6 p.m.
This is an opportunity to catch MCASD's two newest special exhibitions "Celia Álvarez Muñoz: Breaking the Binding" and "Griselda Rosas: Yo te cuido."
Special Event: Starting at 5 p.m., our ongoing partnership with Space Time will respond to works on display, presenting rare artist videos and live performances. July’s collaboration responds to Celia Àlvarez Muñoz, featuring video work by Guillermo Gómez-Peña, Adriene Jenik, Roberto Sifuentes ("El Naftazteca: Cyber-Aztec TV for 2000 A.D.") and a performance by Rancho Shampoo.
