Originally Aired: March 6, 2006 Francisco Jimenez came to the U.S. as the 4-year-old son of migrant farm workers. From humble beginnings, he has become a professor at Santa Clara University and author of several award winning autobiographical children's books.

Dr. Jimenez will be giving a lecture on the San Diego State campus at the Smith Recital Hall tonight at 7pm.
