Tony Perry is the San Diego Bureau Chief for the Los Angeles Times. He's embedded with the first Marine Expeditionary Force out of Camp Pendleton. Today he's on a massive ten story hydro-electric dam that provides power to the town of Haditha, near the Euphrates River. He spoke with KPBS Anchor Dwane Brown.
