Tom Fudge: Tonight, the Beach Alcohol Task Force meets in the Santa Clara Recreation Center to talk about drinking on the beach. It's been more than four years since San Diegans voted to continue allowing alcohol consumption on the beach. But people who live in beach communities say the negative aspects of drunken behavior are still a huge problem.
The task force was created by the City Council to study the range of alcohol-related problems in communities like Mission Beach and Pacific Beach. Joining me to talk about drinking on the beach, and related issues, are two members of the Beach Alcohol Task Force.
The Beach Alcohol Task Force will have a public meeting tonight (Monday) at 6:30 p.m. at the Santa Clara Recreation Center.
