Family Psychologist, John Rosemond, Offers Parenting Advice

Maureen Cavanaugh (Guest Host):    John Rosemond is one of the most popular family psychologists in the United States.  He's written 12 books on parenting and has a syndicated column appearing in more than 200 newspapers nationwide.  Rosemond describes his parenting approach as traditional and biblically-based.  He's an outspoken critic of contemporary parenting styles that focus heavily on building self-esteem and advanced skills.  This makes Rosemond a controversial figure and his critics often take him to task for being too stringent when it comes to disciplining children.  John Rosemond joins us this morning to share his ideas about the best way to raise your children.
