Gasoline Price Drop Typical of September is Yet to Arrive
San Diego's average gas price is hovering just under the $3 a gallon mark. The Utility Consumer's Action Network tracks local pump prices.
UCan's Charles Langley says gas prices typically go down in September. He says that hasn't happened this year.
Langley : Every Wednesday or Thursday we've seen a jump of five or six cents for the last few weeks. And then things calm down. Then there's another little ugly surprise.
Langley says prices on the spot market dropped a couple of cents a gallon on Tuesday. He says that could be easing the pressure to move prices up at the pump.
