One of the best lines I read this week came from KPBS' own
Maureen Cavanaugh . It's in the November issue of
On Air Magazine where Maureen is the focus of the "Spotlight" column.
I've produced for Maureen and know her to be clever and blessed with a great laugh. I'm not surprised by the wit on display in her interview, but there was one answer I've coveted, wishing I had come up with exact same response over all the years I've been asked this question.
The question? "What did you want to be when you grew up?"
Maureen's answer? "The girlfriend of a middle-aged French Film director."
Best. Answer. Ever.
The last question of the interview is: "If you weren't working in your current profession, what do you think you would be doing right now?" Cavanaugh strikes again: "Spoon-feeding an elderly French film director."
