Diesel Prices Are Putting a Financial Squeeze on Nations Truckers
Tom Fudge: If you have been suffering the high cost of gas lately, take some comfort. At least you don't have to buy diesel fuel, which is exceeding $4 a gallon pretty much all over the country. But while you may not have to buy diesel, most commercial vehicle operators do. That means there are a lot of truckers on the road who are making little or no profits. Ultimately, it will mean the cost of the goods we have to move across the country, will go up.
