The search continues for Chelsea King, the 17-year-old Poway girl who went missing last Thursday. King's classmates at Poway High School are keeping their fingers crossed.
There are posters with Chelsea King's picture all over Poway. Trees and power poles within a mile of Poway High School are wrapped with blue ribbons.
The electronic sign at Poway High asks people to call the sheriff's office if they have any information about the girl.
Tammy Flores has a class with King. She says the mood at school is grim.
"Oh, everyone's like sad," says Flores. "Everyone's just down, it's not even happy anymore. I don't know, I'm just hoping, like, get news about someone finding her."
So far, searchers have not found the girl.
Police say the search for King has expanded. Helicopters and foot patrols are concentrating on the area around Rancho Bernardo where she was last seen.
