Coronado
One of the many places offering egg hunts this Sunday is the Hotel Del Coronado. The hotel will feature egg hunts, which are free to hotel and dining guests, at 10 a.m. and again at noon. There will also be crafting areas available at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
The Coronado Community Center is hosting an Easter Egg-stravaganza Saturday, April 23. Egg hunts as well as crafts and a carnival will be available from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Mission Bay
The Catamaran Resort and Spa will offer an egg hunt for kids following their Easter Sunday brunch. The brunch runs from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and includes a cruise tour of Mission Bay.
Oceanside
Oceanside residents will be able to participate in the egg hunt downtown on Saturday. The day-before-Easter hunt will take place at 10 a.m. Parks and Recreation in Oceanside will sponsor the hunt for children aged 4-11.
Clairemont
The Tierrasanta Recreation Center will host an Easter egg hunt the Saturday before Easter. The center, located on Clairemont Mesa Drive, will start at 9:30 a.m. and costs $3 per child and is free for children 2 years old and younger.
Point Loma
Liberty Station will host a variety of activities for its Spring Fling event Saturday, including multiple egg hunts. Festivities start at noon and the egg hunts will start at 1 p.m.
La Jolla
Birch Aquarium will feature daily egg hunts as part of its Spring EGGstravaganza from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., April 21 - 24. Other activities will include shark egg crafts, story telling and learning about marine animals that lay eggs.
The San Diego Dive Club is hosting an underwater egg hunt at La Jolla shores. SCUBA divers will hunt for eggs in the water from 9:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. and a pancake breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to noon. An egg hunt will also be offered at Kellogg park for children too young to SCUBA dive.
Encinitas
The San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas is having its Spring Party with Bunny Saturday, April 23. This party will have a bunny hunt instead of an egg hunt and costs $12 for members and $15 for non-members. Reservations are required, as there is a 50 child maximum for the hunt. The early party is full, but there are still spots available for the late party starting at 11:30 a.m.
