Dogs probably shouldn't drink Slurpees

The convenience store chain best know for Slurpees and Big Gulps wants you - if you're a "qualifying" veteran.

7-11 is giving away a franchise in a contest called "Operation: Take Command."

The winner of the contest will get a $190,000 credit towards the chain's franchise fee, according to Tribune News Service.

To enter the contest, you need to be a veteran with an honorable discharge, be at least 21-years-old, and have three years of retail or restaurant experience.

The deadline to enter is Jan. 25. After the finalists are announced in March, they'll need to make a 2-minute video explaining why they should win the franchise.

Then, Tribune reports...

[V]ia the 7-Eleven Facebook page, the public can vote on the top 10 finalists' 2-minute videos on why they should win.

The last three finalists will have a final interview with 7-Eleven CEO Joe DePinto.
