It was a Broadway show in the late 20s and a hit film in 1930 that they Marx Brothers made. It is about a painting that goes missing. Really the plot is just a vehicle for all the jokes. It is packed with famous jokes. If you look up animal crackers and jokes you will get pages and pages. One morning I shot an elephant my pajamas. How we got my pajamas, I will never know. Hello I must be going is a son that followed him throughout his career and a song called her Ray from Captain Spaulding. We have a clip of it. [ Music ] just a little taste from animal crackers. How in the world has Leslie Odom adapted this question This was a Broadway show that had a lot of songs . So they are bringing back a lot of songs and turning it back to a full-scale musical and there's also -- there will be audience participation in the 2017 version. So will there be actors who are actually playing the Marx Brothers question Yes, they have some and the wind and she will be Harpo and then Josh Ruben will be playing another character. It runs through August 13. Next a concert featuring Leslie Odom Junior. You mention this last week that you are bringing it up again. You must really like it. I really do. I think he has a beautiful voice. I got to see him last summer and it was so beautiful and I'm glad that he's going to be performing for larger audience. Reminders who he is. People know him because he played Aaron Burr . He left about a year ago and he really -- released a solo album. He's been touring and playing those songs. P mobile -- people might also know because he was on the TV show mash. He's been around for a long time. He will be performing with the San Diego Symphony. Does that mean he will not be performing music from Hamilton question mark He will be performing music from Hamilton. He will be playing songs from the musical but they will be enhanced by the Symphony. You've got a clip. This is Leslie Odom Junior singing wait for it. [ Music ] he is singing wait for it from the musical Hamilton. He is in concert with the San Diego Symphony tonight and tomorrow night at the Bayside Summer Nights. Finally there's a show happening that showcases the career of Brian Karscig . He is a longtime local musician and very prolific. He's don't because he is a love for garage rock but he has a way of making it feel fresh and modern. He was a founding member of The Nervous Wreckords , Convoy, Louis XIV . They went beyond local. They had record deals and they went on a world tour. That is the one that crossed over. What is he doing now question Mark Lately he is in San Diego and does a lot of solo projects. He also produces songs and albums and work with the musician and he also cowrites music. He has a writing partnership from the band. What can people expect from this concert tonight? He will be playing songs from all the bands that he has been in and probably some other stuff. He has a lot of friends in this town so I would expect some surprise guest. Let's listen to some of his music. [ Music ] the The Life of Brian concert happens Saturday night at Casbah . I've been speaking with Nina Garin. Thank you. Thank you.
