On May 5, 1973, Johnny Cash performed a stunning set at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, featuring a guest appearance by his wife, June Carter Cash.

Among the classics Johnny performed that night were "Big River," "Jackson," "Folsom Prison Blues," "A Boy Named Sue" and "Sunday Morning Coming Down."

This recently unearthed footage from the Sony vault captures Johnny at his best, from his signature ballads to hard rocking numbers, backed by his world class band.

The live show is followed by a preview of the forthcoming documentary, "The Man In Black In Britain." The film tells the story of the deep, long-standing connection Johnny had with the UK, which led to the natural creation of the "Royal Philharmonic Orchestra" album at the Abbey Road Studios.

Produced by Nick Patrick and Don Reedman, it is the latest in a series of RPO albums showcasing classic recordings by timeless artists in sublime new musical settings.
