I guess Clive Owen is developing a taste for action thrillers after Shoot 'Em Up and The Inside Man (he also had a small part in The Bourne Identity ). He now stars in The International in which he plays an Interpol agent who attempts to expose a high-profile financial institution's role in an international arms dealing ring. The film may tap into anger people have toward the banking industry. The film is directed by Germany's Tom Tykwer. Tykwer knows how to create fast-paced suspense, and won acclaim for his hip, unconventional actioner Run. Lola, Run .
