After prodding from friends and co-workers, I've agreed to share a photograph I took during Thanksgiving dinner at my house. Some of my guests stuck around long enough, and drank enough wine, to agree to a staging of Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper."
This isn't the first year I've orchestrated this same photograph, though last time it was with a much smaller group. This year, we were lucky to have the same "Jesus" and plenty of "apostles." The set-up was hysterical. Everyone was getting into their roles, grouping in "three's" and looking at Leonardo's version on their iPhones.
Why did we do this? Well, I don't have a good reason, except that I secretly wish I could stage tableaux vivants on a regular basis. Yes, I'm that much of a dork. Next year, we're going to try this one.
