PBS NEWSHOUR convention coverage will be co-hosted by Gwen Ifill and Judy Woodruff. NPR host Rachel Martin will report inside the hall with NEWSHOUR’s Lisa Desjardins and John Yang and NPR’s Sue Davis.
Ifill and Woodruff will also be joined by NPR’s Mara Liaisson, Ron Elving and Domenico Montenaro and NEWSHOUR regular contributors including syndicated columnist Mark Shields, New York Times columnist David Brooks and Cook Political Report’s Amy Walter.
LIVE STREAMING:
Gavel to gavel coverage will extend online and on social platforms, to include live streaming of stage speeches and floor interviews. This special coverage will stream live on NPR.org and through NPR One. PBS NEWSHOUR will produce round-the-clock convention coverage by providing live video, a live blog, a broad range of analysis, reporting inside and outside the event.
In addition to NEWSHOUR and NPR’s reporting efforts, several NPR station reporters and their delegations will bring added depth and insight to the joint coverage. The PBS NEWSHOUR nightly broadcast throughout the conventions will be anchored on location by Ifill and Woodruff, with Hari Sreenivasan providing additional reporting in Washington.
