What To Expect At Comic-Con 2017: A Conversation With Organizer David Glanzer
San Diego’s biggest event is underway. Comic-Con International draws more than 130,000 pop culture fans every year, and this year is no different.
David Glanzer, director of marketing and public relations for Comic-Con, attended the convention as a fan for the first time in 1978. Since then, he said, Comic-Con has grown exponentially and keeps evolving to reflect how pop culture has changed.
KPBS Arts Reporter Beth Accomando talked to Glanzer about what to expect at this year’s Comic-Con.
