The UK version of ANTIQUES ROADSHOW returns as presenter Fiona Bruce and the team are back on the trail of the nation’s hidden treasures, visiting more of Britain’s most sumptuous and unusual locations.
Season 36 also introduces a new play-along feature – The Rogues Gallery, where viewers get the chance to see whether they can spot a fake among real treasures.
In this episode, Fiona Bruce and the team arrive at Towneley Hall near Burnley in Lancashire, England. Despite heavy rain, thousands arrive to show their family treasures.
Objects brought before the cameras include a garden ornament that turns out to be more important than first thought, a collection of handbags that has prompted a domestic tiff, and a 16th/17th century ring bought in a boot sale for a song.
