Mexican law enforcement authorities plastered his face on a billboard alongside one of Tijuana's main thoroughfares.

They're asking for any tips as to his whereabouts.

Last year, Gonzalez was living in a million and a half dollar home in Chula Vista.

Chula Vista is where he was kidnapped and held for eight days until the FBI rescued him.

Gonzalez is now a witness in the state's case against his alleged captors.

US law enforcement officials say those captors are part of a kidnap and murder crew that's operated in San Diego for the last few years. The kidnappers are know to target members of Tijuana's Arellano Felix Drug Cartel.

DEA officials say Gonzalez is associated with that cartel.

Gonzalez is not in custody in San Diego. Attorneys on the case expect him to testify in Superior Court in early October.
