A seven-day streak of dropping prices ended today when the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose six-tenths of a cent to $4.133.
The streak was the longest since a 42-day streak ended July 13, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The average price dropped 2.5 cents during the streak, including three-tenths of a cent on Wednesday.
The average price is 1.8 cents less than one week ago, but 3 cents more than one month ago and 19.3 cents greater than one year ago.
