High Winds Stop Short Of Damage In San Diego

Some of the most powerful Santa Ana winds in years roared through parts of southern California Wednesday night, toppling trees and overturning trucks in Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside Counties.

In those counties, wind gusts ranged from 70 to 100 mph in the valley and desert areas.

The gusty conditions have chilled the air in San Diego, but that's about it. KPBS Reporter Dwane Brown has more:
