Iran May Halt Enrichment, But Wants Talks First

The United States is pushing for sanctions against Iran to punish the Islamic nation for pursuing a uranium-enrichment program the Bush administration insists will lead to the development of nuclear weapons. Iranian officials say they are pursuing nuclear power, not weapons -- but recently hinted it would suspend its enrichment program during the course of new negotiations.
