Egyptian Opposition Decries Changes to Constitution

Egyptian lawmakers approve amendments to the country's constitution, which critics say will increase the government's power to abuse human and civil rights and block legitimate political dissent.

President Hosni Mubarak's ruling National Democratic Party approved the amendments after opposition lawmakers walked out in protest.
