Jan Egeland Reflects on His U.N. Tenure

As coordinator for humanitarian efforts at the United Nations, Jan Egeland fought to help victims of natural disaster and war. Egeland stepped down in December after three years as emergency relief coordinator. He discusses his humanitarian work and the challenges of working for the U.N.
