Alleged Drug Figure Arrested in Maryland Restaurant

In March, police raided the Mexico City home of Chinese-born pharmaceutical executive Zhenli Ye Gon, confiscating more than $200 million. The cash had been stashed behind walls and suitcases.

Authorities, who accuse Ye Gon of supplying chemicals to drug cartels, arrested him at an unlikely spot: a Chinese restaurant in a suburban Maryland mall. Washington Post reporter Ernesto Londono talks with Alex Cohen.
