Appeals For Arrested Journalist's Release

Iranian-American journalist Roxana Saberi has been held in a prison in Tehran, Iran, for about seven weeks now. News organizations, including National Public Radio, and American officials have been pressing for her release to no avail.

Host Liane Hansen speaks with North Dakota Sen. Byron Dorgan about the situation, and we also hear from Roxana's father, Reza Saberi, who recently sent a letter of appeal to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.
