How Repeal of Health Care Bill Would Affect Veterans

A report from Harvard estimates that 2,266 veterans died in 2008 because they had no health insurance. Ashwin Madia of VoteVets.org, an organization whose mission is to ensure that troops have what they need to complete their missions and receive the care they deserve when they get home, insists that a vote for repeal of the health care law passed last year will "deny many more veterans access to affordable health insurance."

An attorney and a veteran, Madia's first first act as the interim chairman of VoteVets.org was to launch this petition calling on the House to defeat the repeal.
