Intelligence officials scouring the computer hard drives, DVDs, and other evidence nabbed from Osama bin Laden's compound have apparently found some chilling information. ABC News reports it's possible the al Qaeda leader was planning an attack to mark the ten-year anniversary of 9/11. This new evidence has prompted the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI to issue the following warning (obtained by ABC):
Terrifying, isn't it? However, DHS spokesman Matt Chandler tells ABC his agency has no plans to issue a National Terrorism Alert.
It seems bin Laden called the compound where he eventually died home for five years, according to the Wall Street Journal. Amal Ahmed Abdulfattah, bin Laden's youngest widow, told investigators she lived there with her husband, several of his other wives, and some of their children.
