Did Rick Santorum Hear Audience Boo Gay Soldier? (Video)

Don't ask, don't tell officially ended on Tuesday, but the controversy surrounding the policy continues. On Thursday's Fox News Google Debate, a gay Soldier in Iraq named Stephen Hill asked the candidates whether or not they would try to reinstate DADT. After waiting for the audience to finish booing Hill, former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum answered the question this way:

However, the Republican gay-rights group GOProud was deeply disappointed Santorum didn't acknowledge Hill's service to his country. According to a statement by the group:
