Marines Headed To Libya To Protect Consulate (Video)

In response to the murder of U.S. Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans, a team of Marines has been deployed to Libya to secure the consulate.

An unnamed senior military official told Fox News a so-called "fast team" of 50 Marines based at Naval Station Rota in Spain is being deployed to Benghazi.

On Tuesday, a mob angered by an anti-Islam film attacked Stevens as he was attempting to evacuate the consulate, according to the Pentagon Channel. He was killed, along with three American embassy staffers.
