A roadside bomb blast in southern Afghanistan killed three U.S. service members and their military working dog on Friday.
According to a NATO ISAF casualty report:
Three International Security Assistance Force service members and one ISAF canine died following an improvised explosive device attack in southern Afghanistan today.
While NATO ISAF has not identified the nationalities of those killed, both The Associated Press and the Daily Mail have reported that the service members were American.
The latest tally from iCasulaties.org finds at least 40 U.S. service members have been killed in Afghanistan since the beginning of 2014.
