Potential Gonzales Successors Face Tough Congress

When President Bush names his choice to follow Alberto Gonzales as attorney general, the focus will shift to the confirmation process.

Members of Congress are expected to give the nominee a tough time, demanding assurances that he or she will be more open with Congress and provide more documents and testimony on controversial issues than Gonzales did.
