Maureen Cavanaugh: People may disagree on the policies of the new president, but most everyone would admit he's had a lot going on in the last four months. From stimulus bills, to the stock market, to Supreme Court nominees, to pirates. The first 100 days-plus of Barack Obama's term have certainly been eventful. And covering that term has also been eventful for the reporters assigned to the White House.
This week, for example the president has announced some support from health care industry leaders to reduce costs, all the while he's trying to shore up support for his $3.5 trillion budget proposal. Trying to understand all that and translate it to the public, is why my next guest gets the big bucks.
