Held at and in collaboration with Revision Creative Workspace, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide inclusive access to art, culture, social practice and environmental education through the framework of a creative workspace. Celebrate National Carousel Day at the Dorothea Laub Balboa Park Carousel on Friday, July 25, from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. National Carousel Day is a FREE community event presented by Forever Balboa Park, offering free carousel rides all day, family friendly activities, and entertainment. Food from local vendors will be available for purchase. This milestone year marks 15 years of bringing the community together for a relaxed, family-friendly afternoon of western-themed fun, all in support of the children and programs supported by Ivey Ranch Park. Guests can look forward to crowd favorites like horse-riding demonstrations, hayrides, music entertainment, steakhouse BBQ, raffles, a silent auction, a Kids Corral, ROTC Color Guard flag ceremony, and more. VIP guests will enjoy the comfort of reserved seating, table service, hors d’oeuvres, a steakhouse dinner, drinks, and raffle tickets in the VIP Lounge. General admission tickets are $85 and children’s general admission tickets are $65, with a $20 increase for each ticket at the door.
