  • Greetings noble patrons, we come to you as humble servants and welcome you to celebrate this glorious annual event. Join us as we transport back in time to the 16th century Elizabethan Era and relive the life of a peasant, pirate or valiant knight. All forms of life and characters are welcome to attend. Do you like dressing up as a dragon, fairy or mermaid? Well then, hesitate no further, put on your best attire, step out into the sun and come marvel with our renaissance family. Guilds from across the lands tell tales of their great adventures. Vendors from distant parts of the world will enchant you with their delicious wares, libations and unique trinkets. Set sail on a Quest for the Queen and see if you are truly worthy to receive a knighthood. Entertainers will amaze you with their mythical feats and musical talents. Our jousting tournament will have you roaring for more as our knights battle for the one true claim of being champion above all and our battle reenactment will leave you in awe as 50 of our top competitors battle for victory. We bring family friendly entertainment, along with musical performances and education so all our guests may experience life from long ago. Whether its eating a delicious turkey leg with your favorite chalice of mead or visiting the marketplace and browsing the medieval attire, weapons or fanciful trinkets, we know you will thoroughly enjoy yourself at the faire and we look forward to seeing you soon. In this 4-week ceramic hand-building series, students are led by Instructor-artist Lydia Kardos and will create functional and nonfunctional ceramic work using a variety of techniques and their imaginations. They will learn how to create with coils, slab construction and clay pinching methods. Students are so proud when they see the beauty of the final results as their pieces come out of the kiln. Students will create multiple pieces in this series, and learn how to glaze bisque ware for a finished piece of artwork. All materials included. Projects are changed regularly, so students can return month after month to continue to develop their skills! Drop-ins are welcome! Is your child curious about taking this class? Choose ‘Drop-in Date’ from the drop-down menu (please purchase 48 hours in advance, so we can have supplies ready). We welcome drop-in students at the first class of each month-long series.
