In this month-long series, kids learn a wide variety of traditional crafts from professional artist-educators. Young students will make beautiful pieces to take home over the course of the series. The variety of mediums teach dexterity using safe materials. Oceanside Theatre Company’s Youth Academy returns this fall from September 3 to November 17 at the Brooks Theater for rehearsals for “The Addams Family.” Students ages 10-19 are invited to hone their acting, dancing and singing skills in this three-month musical theatre program. The Addams Family, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story in which Gomez Addams is forced to keep the secret from his wife about his daughter Wednesday, the princess of darkness, dating a regular guy.
