Milk Street Cook Rayna Jhaveri then makes Turkish Chickpea Salad that uses sumac and fresh herbs to balance earthy chickpeas. Finally, Milk Street Cook Erica Bruce demonstrates Garlicky Lentil and Parsley Salad with Feta.
  • North Park’s The Original 40 Brewing Company has partnered with Symbols From The Sun to host Groove and Gratitude, a disco-themed yoga and gratitude journaling exercise session on Sunday, March 26 from 10 – 11:30 a.m. The morning includes a 15-minute vinyasa flow warm-up, 30 minutes of sculpt, 15-minute vinyasa flow cooldown and savasana, and an exercise in gratitude journaling and community reflection. The session is led by Cassandra Aronow, who is Yoga Alliance RYT 200 certified and Reiki Master certified. The price includes one pint of Original 40 craft beer. Guests are encouraged to wear groovy disco-themed attire, and the class will feature a mixture of 60s and 70s music.

Hone your wood carving skills in a supportive environment of fellow carvers.The Craft Collective offers carvers of varying skill levels a place to meet to create their own spoons or other carved items. Hand tools will be available for use during club meeting time.Carving Club is suitable for those who have completed the Introduction to spoon carving course, or have some previous carving experience.Price is a monthly fee.We will supply materials and carving tools, but if you have your own, please bring them.
