  • This month marks five years since the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. We hear about the latest research from Dr. Eric Topol and dive into the realities of living with long COVID.
  • During our Chocolate Making Classes you will learn, create, eat and laugh! We offer chocolate making classes for adults and children 5 years and older*. Our hands-on chocolate making classes are about 1 ½- 2 hours long and limited to 12 students (or 12 child/ parent teams). There you will learn the basics of working with chocolate, create your own bark, molded chocolates and more. During class, students will play with favorite flavors like salted caramel and peanut butter cup and select monthly themed flavors made by chocolatier Michelle Lomelin. Students will also select from more than two dozen ingredients as they personalize a chocolate bark – with favorite flavors including freeze dried fruits and savory pretzels, potato chips and a wide selection of nuts. Plus, you will get to keep all your creations! Our chocolate making classes are offered one Saturday a month and each month has its own theme. June is the height of berry season and we are showcasing them at their peak! For molded chocolates we will be using strawberry lemonade ganache and brambleberry caramel. For barks we will be using freeze dried blueberries, raspberries and strawberries. We will even dip fresh strawberries!   • Have you always wanted to tap dance? In our Tap Workshop, taught by Lindy Lyon, we will work on the fundamentals of tap dance in the feet and in the body. Each week, students will build on the skills learned the previous week as we broaden our step vocabulary. Students will also learn about major figures and influences in tap dance history. Students will hone their tap skills with an emphasis on musicality, technique, and playfulness as they learn a dance. The Adult Tap Workshop is a great opportunity for beginners and returning tap dancers alike.
