Created to foster connection, empowerment, and community, Sisterhood of Service provides a welcoming space for women who have served, and continue to serve, our country. The day will begin with an all-levels yoga session, followed by refreshments, networking opportunities, and access to resources tailored to the needs of women veterans. Attendees will also enjoy a catered lunch, hear from an inspirational guest speaker, and participate in an interactive goal-setting workshop. Admission is free for women veterans and active-duty military members, but an RSVP is required. The program also places emotional support animals (ESAs) with active-duty military and veterans, as well as deploys the Shelter to Soldier Canine Ambassadors, a team of therapy dogs and their volunteer handlers, to provide visits of love and comfort to local military, veterans, and their families.
