Shortly their after, Amanda joined the Indie rock band by the name of Viva Apollo. Join St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center on Thursday, November 9, for the Annual “Swing with Santa” golf tournament at Singing Hills Golf Resort in Sycuan. This year’s event takes place on the new Willow Glen Course. Golfers are in for games and prizes at select holes, gift bags, a delicious lunch, a silent auction, and more. There will also be an appearance from the big man himself, Santa Clause, at the helicopter ball drop. The event is held to raise funds for St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center, a nonprofit organization that educates and empowers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to realize their full potential. SMSC provides work training and social experiences that encourage students to become well-rounded, contributing members of the greater community. The Center also strives to educate the community about the realities of intellectual and developmental disabilities, such as Down syndrome, autism, and cerebral palsy.
